Carrie has spent her career in corporate ESG roles, leading the Sustainability and Philanthropy functions at forward-thinking companies for 20+ years. She currently serves as the Chief Philanthropy Officer at Workday.
Carrie’s long-held belief that we should actively work to reduce animal suffering combined with her sense of urgency to slow the climate crisis set her on a research-focused quest for solutions that led to Cool Planet Food.
Carrie’s decades-long professional experience leading high-impact philanthropy is what fueled her laser-like focus on reducing our dependency on animal agriculture as a means to cool the planet. She serves as the trusted advisor for individual philanthropists, foundations and impact investors seeking to have an outsized impact on climate change over the next 10 years.
